Deleting lurkers
I know we now have many lurkers on this forum, perhaps now is the time to either get them to register and post at least once a week in the forum or not let them have access to the threads.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Illegitimi non carborundum

Re: Deleting lurkers
It's a tough one, there are many who register just to read and are not message board savvy.
I could put a hack in where you have to make 1 post(Introduce yourself) before you can see the forums like i did on the old board, which could kick start some of them.
That kind of stuff though makes it hard to update the board when new patches come out.I'll have a look and see how complictaed the hack is.
There is nothing i can do with the 'post at least once a week' thing as there is no such hack out there.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Deleting lurkers
It was just a thought, as you say it might kick start some of them into contributing, would be nice if some of the lurking journo's actually asked questions instead of hiding.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

I am sure when I first sign up, you had to be sign in before you can actually view the forums, has that recently change? the thing is though you often get guest's viewing forums, they see a post that interest them, and than they register,so sometimes it work the other way and encourages them to sign up.
