I mentioned this in another thread a while back, and it's something impossible to do unless the CWU sanction it which would mean it would be easier to get the word around, but may be doubtful because of legal reasons, but it would be better if we could ban anything to do with DSA,and just touch Royal Mail only work.
DSA is a big problem for the business and has brought us to our knees.

It would get the xmas mail through and show our contempt for the DSA leeches.
Win win situation, but probably not legal.

But i do think it's a fantasy land idea.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

if the union does call off the strike's in the run up to xmass i can assure all of you office like mine will just lose the will to continue. lossing so much money only to see the union back down now will mean a return to work on mass. in short it will mean an end to the union in london.

Why have London been the only ones on strike? Surely a national strike would be the only way to show management at all levels. Makes sense for all to lose a few days than one area to lose big time and not really cause enough of a disruption to warrant the loss in pay for the few.

the real answer to that is. the nuion f**ked up. if they now expect us to end the strikes untill after christmas they've got no chance of us striking afterwards. we'll of lost more then £1000 for f**k all. this union had better get it's head out of it's arse if it think's we're going to end the strike's now and start agin aftre christmas.

Ok , Xmas is a time that could make or break us...but I'd rather go down kickin 'n' screamin than just roll over..!! :dance Everyone's bound to have spoken members who have said "let's get them by the nuts at Xmas..that'll fuk em up" NOW WE HAVE...everyone is started to get twitchy feet already..??!! STRIKE WHILE THE IRON'S HOT......!!!!! :nana :nana
I am not talking about rolling over. If you bothered to read my 1st post I put it out there as a , Should we strike hard in January. I am backing the strike all ends up mate. I truly believe its the only way to go. But I was putting a different thought out there not asking us to weaken anything down. If you listen to the radio shows this week it was all (apart from talk-sport) slanted very much against the posties.

"we are lucky to have a job " "Posties earn more than nurses" :mad "My postmen only comes twice a week" etc etc. The public do not know the true reason why we are striking and I think its the CWU's job to make sure they do. Already the papers are calling it suicidal so I thought we could try to win the public over before we deny them a service. I voted to strike, so I think I can ask if XMAS is the proper time to do it. I can see later on more job losses as Crozier blames the strikes over XMAS and the public saying bloody good job.

I ve read the posts and it looks like my idea is dead in the water. But it was only a question to debate on not a statement of intent. I like 'posties' idea of not delivering DSA that is not ours and delivering only RM stuff. That way the public get their XMAS stuff and we f**k RM. But is it legal, I dunno?

We strike until the management back down totally, and if that means disruption of the service at xmas, so be it.
Any other course of action will be disastrous.
