i really could not give a toss about some companies as they don't care about us :so there
give TNT & UK mail the letters to deliver......hang on i forgot we deliver them don't we :crazy:

I was told by my Mrs that on the TV news at lunch they interviewed a guy running a small jewellery business,he was complaining about the strike
the news reader asked him why don't you use another courier firm? his reply was that they are too expensive :left:

btw can someone post a link of the itv report if they come across it
http://itn.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and click on the Postal Strike link
That isn't the report with a postie on his round though.
Try some of these http://itn.co.uk/search?q=postal+strikes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Do't think it's any of those dgp. It was on the ITN 1800 News, so it probably isn't online yet.

Mind you the guy was going on about not getting job and finish anymore BUT what about being asked to go over your full paid time because of the extra absorbtion workload ?
I don't rem seeing that bit on the ITV one,all i saw was that it was about pegasus,are you talking about a different one?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Maybe he isn't being asked to work over? My office isn't (at least for now). If you can't do the extra within time you don't take it out.

strange statement from one who admits he finnishes almost two hours before he's due to .....pot kettle syndrome ??? or just bull shi*
