I just hope EVERY SINGLE Union member supports and respects the majority decision. Regardless how they voted. Majority rules. Simple.
The 'no' voters had their chance with their ballot paper and failed miserably  ,now they must comply with the majority...!! If they don't....then it's open season..!! Let's not give em the breathing space they deserve and revel in our day of TRIUMPH....!!! :Applause :nana :Applause HAIL..!!

And I thought it was the management that helped us secure a yes vote, with their constant bullying and really bad attempts at trying to get a no vote :hmmmm :nervous :nervous

Agreed

Management did an amazing job of securing a yes vote. No less than 3 horrendously crafted letters and flyers from them, also must of killed a couple of hundred trees in the process of sending this rubbish out to every postie. :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause

Absolutely right Gus. We are the Union. Members and reps at the coal face won this ballot in the face of some of the worst provocation by local managers acting under national instructions. Some might say the "Nuremberg Defence" applies, I dont.
Lets hope any national resolution involves an independent IR/ER review and that some action is taken against offending managers.

In the meantime the national leadership need to be aware that another Pay and MOd deal which allows RM to steam roller through job cuts is not acceptable. We work for a national public service and we should have national terms and conditions wherever we work.

A big thank you to all who voted Yes.
