Not forgetting this one....

It's for a good cause.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The reason I cut off is because my manager tells me to. He will not pay overtime to finish a round if you went on strike. Scabbs can though. :cfo He cares less for customers waiting in vain for their mail, it sits in my frame till next day. :arrrghhh

NO, they seem to be able to do what they want and not suffer any penalty :mad

we're that 'efficient'now,it means we can't get sorted on stack in time,
so even at 4mph ,you can't do a 31/2 hour delivery in 3 hours!

1) No transport provided to get me back to the office (almost a 4 mile walk back to the office after the duty)
2) Executive action didn't think to provide extra bag drops
3) Doing the job properly means it's almost impossible to do the job within the delivery time span now
4) D2D's still need to be done - even on the days RM call 'shorts'
5) Not having keys to get into blocks of flats slows me down big time

New housing area, no pouch boxes.
Van required,
Trolley.
too much mail
not enough time.
I do the job the way they want me to,stop and count the letters, then move off, not one short cut, no hiding packets for folk, fill in 739s slowly and legibly, make sure my trolley is stopped dead before going to a house, and thats why i cut off, every single day, :nana

Im no longer sweating or tired when its 2pm, just chuckling away to masel as its another day, another shambles :funneh

Yes, 100% agree with that.. the DOM in my old office got away with something he should not have, ignored customer complaints about it as well!!!

With managers doing night shifts and throwing in the mail that has stacked up due to strike action mainly flats plus the daily mail frames are overloaded bags result in being over weight and yet the answer from so called managers is we do not expect you to carry the weight so why over load the frames in the first place and then we we get grief when streeming the duty because they are short staffed would not say it takes a genius to figure out the best plan of action to clear the back log and daily mail but hey if they want to add pressure to there job then cutting off it will be :nana
