Blimey the rubber bands are SO crap these days !

In over twenty years i HAVE NEVER had so many rubber bands snap on me.
Ok bands could always snap if you banded together packets or made the bundles too big but this recent batch of red ones are just terrible. I am not only getting arms / fingers whipped by them as they break banding up but the bundles but they are even snapping in the pouch.
I also found that in the rain they are even worse with 4 snapping whilst holding the bundle on delivery today it really aint good

I totally agree with you on this one. Bands snapping on bundles in your bag is happening to me as well has never happened before.
They even snap when they are brand new
Not sure what we can do though??
I'm certainly not prepared to buy my own or we'll be doing that for ever more once RM see us doing it

Not necessarily: Aparently the PDAs cost the same as a new Blackberry PDA. Yet they're obsolete crap. We've still got computers running Windows 2000! Or if you're lucky, you might even get one of the ones using XP!

its the same with the boots, its the same with the pouches and its the same with the fleeces infact, id say everything royal fail buys is poor quality crap. with a "lets save money and purchase the cheapest option on the market" attitude. not thinking that supplying us with cheap equipment only means we have to use three times as many than if they just stumped up the cash and baught top quality equipment

i stopped using the red ones months ago after 6 in a row snapped! now i use the larger brown ones that usually hold the flats together prior to sorting .still someone in our d.o who uses string but it seems to take him twice as long to tie off .

With the old brown bands i could use them obout 3 times before they started to snap but with the latest red one i dare not use them twice. I now just throw the ones from my pockets away As for makimg the bundles smaller, i am really not making large bundles at the moment. The bands just snap as you start to stretch them even before you get them around the bundles. I had one last sat ping up and hit me in the lip leaving a small lump it was still sore hours later

I was really impressed when i first got my PDA but not so much now It keeps locking up and re-setting itself. Also the keyboard only works part of the time and will not accept the pin code meaning you have to use the fiddly screen. It takes so much longer to use as well. The only good thing i will say is the barcode reader is good and reads from some impossible angles.
