Yeah...why not, we're not losing enough customers at the moment. How about recommending to them an alternative.

On the other hand you could bring the issues to the managers attention with possible solutions.

How many times do we have to point out to the management that things are going wrong :hmmmm 1,2,3,4,5,10,20 times, as my DOM once told me 'You're paid to deliver, not to think'.

If RM are being paid to deliver them, and the Manager isn't making sure they get delivered. Then I'd suggest telling IB, rather than the Customer. Why risk loosing a Customer, because of one "Bad Apple". Surely it's better to get the situation sorted out, so that it doesn't happen again.

Surely if they are not being delivered then the items will be returned to your D2D WBC who will note the non-delivery of X number of items and the customer not billed for them?

Not my job to go to the piss poor overpaid and underworked management and tell them their job is it! I've sent letters and photographs of piles of undelivered D2D items to the customers, with an explanation as to why these items have not been delivered, so we'll see what happens eh?

And the solution DOM is management do your f***ing job!!!

Update on this situation:-

Senior managers been sent to the office to investigate why d2d were not being delivered and informed us in a briefing that the company involved would pull the contract unless RM agreed to 6 months delivery of their items for free. RM management are furious about this which has hi-lighted how incompetent RM DO managers really are. The company do right and what a winner. This will cost RM as staff are still being paid for delivering them. I recommend everyone do it. And whats happened to the manager you ask? f**k all, thats why i took it outside this f***ing "all piss in the same pot" company.

D2D SHOULD BE DELIVERED 20% PER DAY WITHIN DUTY SPAN,BANK HOLS 25% PER DAY GETTING 20% EXTRA PAYMENT.
D2D LATER THAN TUESDAY 40% EXTRA PAYMENT PLUS BE GIVEN SAT TO COMPLETE IF REQUIRED ,OR POSTPERSON HAS
THE RIGHT TO HAND THESE ITEMS BACK TO DOM,ANY D2D ITEMS NOT DELIVERED SHOULD HAVE BEEN PICKED UP BY
DOM OR LINE MANAGER ,PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR HOLIDAY COVER COULD BE DONE FOR WILFUL DELAY AND FRAUD
IF CLAIMING THESE ITEMS MANAGER COULD ALSO BE DONE FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN.
