EVERYONE to get a fair bonus - not high at the top and low at the bottom - we all work hard, but we do deliver that final letter in wind, rain, sleet and snow.........whilst others make calls from there warm and cosy offices.

35hr week

£20,000 a year + bonus scheme as stated above

D2D`s to be bonded into one envelope/package - would be willing to do 5/6 items for extra money every week, as long as packaged together - not seperate

Machines where you clock in/clock out - it would sort out the shirkers from the workers. This would be the same for managers as well

Regular monthly monitering of rounds/workers in every office to ensure good and viable working conditions

Cannot think of any more at the moment......

All A/G contracts made up to F/T ( Will never happen ) :so there

More walks put back into all offices ( Will never happen ) :pray

Monday to Friday with a guarantee of no job losses ( Possible but it will be with job loses ) :no no

An end to lapsing and flexing ( I can see this ending as its a mockery at present and it is not working as intended )

And last but not least a pay rise in line with inflation ( cost of living )
I'm voting for you at the next election - whatever it's for :Very Happy

There are going to be a lot of disappointed people when this dispute is over. look forward to a 1.5% pay rise with a dozen strings attached, and a poxy bonus system that nobody will understand (other than the fact they're not getting one)

Croziers balls on a platter.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

Abandon Pegasus.
Aim for 3.5 hour walks
Some managers in rm must have sanctioned this software
and are now unwilling to admit its failure as this would be an embarrassment
for them personally and the company..
so we are stuck with something that doesn't work
Its the emperors new suit ,but we all see the naked truth.

The increase in delivery times has never been matched by a less harsh sickness entitlement. If you are out on delivery for four hours in crappy shoes in the rain week in week out there is a strong possibility you will fall ill , especially if you have already been out lapsing and are wet at the start of your delivery.I would like to see Royal Mail recognise this and offer an amnesty to all people on first stage, second stage warnings.
Lapsing might seem like a good idea from an office but it needs competent managers to arrange it fairly and they are very rare on the ground.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

competent managers in rm are as rare as rocking horse s@@@.
the problems are in the corporate structure.
RM is a dictatorial enviroment thats run in a climate of fear.
each delivery office manager has to do what his cluster manager dictates, he does what the area manager says and so on all the way up to crozier and co.
.but isn't this how all companies work ? you might say, true except that in great companies they empower their managers and trust them to manage.
Doms follow strictly dictated policy , budgets, and targets revised constantly.
My point?
Theres no room in RM for any manager who questions policy.
Theres no room in RM for managers who want to think for themselves.
you must lack empathy with the staff as this will hinder you in implementing policy.
you need to have a moral code that will allow you to carry out policy you don't necessarily agree with,
and the the ability to withstand the scorn and derision of your workers who know you are just an extension of crozys arm.

They are therefore not chosen from the best candidates Q.E.D

Whether it's now or in the near future, the CWU should be pushing to get D2D payments built into the basic wage. It's guaranteed to be something RM are going to try and rob us on, either by forcing more and more lots per week or by trying to reduce/remove payments.

I would like £400 a week basic wage and RM can put however many D2D's they want on.
