Officially, stills are fine. So long as you can't read any addresses, or Customer names. But if there's any Video on there, you'd better get your mates to help you find it, before a Manager does. As the last person caught with a video taken on the premises, where I am (H&S Rep). Was told to delete it immediately, or face a disciplinary!

Royal Mail are in the process of discplining indivuduals for taking photos of the backlog using the joke excuse that it breaches the official secrets act. The circumstances of this case will become publically know very soon. Cant say more at this stage.

thanks guys. anyway i got through to someone on my phone today and the reciepent said someone took it and put the phone down >_>

i dont mind him passing it on/selling it, a possible scenario is he'll be too stupid to know how to delete/reformat the memory stick before he gives it to someone else (since its seperate to the phone & when the phone gets re-setted it puts the intergrated memory as the default) , then the police find it, next year probably & contact "RM" to help find the owner of the phone using the photo's taken of me aswell as seeing the backlog ones

so i'd be in breach of rm's official secrets act even though the photos taken werent published publically, or intended to be  , apart from those who were in the office at the time so i could show them what the bay i was at looked like without them moving from the ips to see it

RM are using it as an excuse to take people down the conduct code as the backlog in many offices is an acute embarrasment to them. Especially as they are all but denying there is one. Yorks, trolleys and other stuff piled everywhere is a clear breach of H&S but do NOT be seen photographing it as it is an "official secret". It is pathetic and would be funny if our beloved management were not looking for scapegoats. VOTE YES !!!! :cfo
