this guy made me chuckle. first he replys to a posties saying oh enjoy your life of servitude la da da da then goes on to say how he's worked for a website for the past year that doesn't pay him.
to me id rather serve the public and get paid, then struggle with the mortgage working for a company that doesn't pay me.

I don't know whether he'll recieve it. But considering that he's allowing some of you to contact him again, I've just tried (probably in vain), to contact him. Here's what I sent:
I've been told that you are now recieving messages from some of my Collegues. Although I still haven't been allowed to respond to the abusive message you posted about me.

If you recieve this message, them please reply, so we can (hopefully) have a civilised discussion about your issues. As yet, I haven't watched your latest 3 parter. And I only watched the first installment of the original (pre-red message) version, as my comments were still being blocked.

I was attempting to respond to your claim that you hadn't abused anyone. Which although despite the foul language, you were right about the original 2 parter. However: you did launch a highly abusive attack on me personally, with the comments. When I became confused about whether you were talking about the Post Office, or Royal Mail. I admitted my mistake, and tried (in vain) to engage you in a civilised debate. But despite me not being abusive, you deleted that comment, and left the original one, with your abusive comments, where it was. Quite frankly, I'd appreciate an explination. And preferably an apology.

I await your response (probably in vain).

To be honest, I'd just like the opportunity to defend myself. I've deleted the one remaining comment he left on. Because coupled with his reply, it gave the false impression that his insults were in some way justified. Because I had made a mistake, when I accused him of saying that it was The Post Office who were on Strike. Which of course I admitted, in the reply that he deleted!

Everyone should be allowed to express their views. And if he feels so strongly about this, then I've no problem with him posting such videos. But if he does so, he should allow people to defend themselves, and point out mistakes. For example: The fact that he gives the impression that he doesn't understand that Royal Mail and The Post Office, are 2 separate entities. Because he kept switching between complaints about parcels, and complaints about the Post Office. It may be a false impression. I don't know. But it's something which needs to be corrected, don't you think?

well, it kinda just shows the point that media coverage hasnt been very clear also as people do still think it is all one company. i have just sent an essay about this to the BBC as they are asking business owners in London for their opinion. Lets hope they dare read mine out. Doubt it.

No. Sadly, there's too much apathy in my Office. The Drivers have been Striking. But we can't even get enough people to turn up at a meeting, to have a Quorum (sorry if it's spelt wrong). So I have to wait for the National Ballot.

I ve just watched it Amazingly its really very good.

Ok I know his earlier videos were offensive, rude, misinformed and just plain idiotic but this one its is very factual and tells the true Royal Mail story.
By looking at his view rating we have certainly given him more attention than he normally gets and no doubt that explains the complete U turn with this new text based video but it puts across a lot of our points very well.

So I say for "THIS" video fair play mate.

Well done to him for being open-minded enough (obviously after quite a lot of people telling him he was wrong) to see the truth in the end. He's posted up something from here with the truth about 'falling mail volumes'.

And well done to everyone here for taking the time to confront lies and missunderstanding. Maybe we can win over the public via youtube? It's a potential massive audience. Needs quality well made videos thou.
