we walked out Friday into saturday night shift went back today but as far as know the overtime staff walked again today not sure about the duty holders

Everyone is getting taken into the office and being give new terms and agreements about breaks on overtime ect

I am sure we will know more tomorrow

But everyone are being advised to go back to there dutys tonight and tomorrow and hopefull it can be sorted out before there is another walkout

Might be Too late For That night3uk I believe the Edinburgh driver's have adopted a similar stance to the overtime staff and have walked out.

The Edinburgh mail centre walked again this morning after the drivers walked last night!!

Does anyone know what its about?

yes they still out & other offices have walked out in support, not sure when we will have a meeting to discuss going back to work

Seemingly the early shift walked this morning.

Overhead a line manager at my place today saying Edinburgh Mail Centre is completely packed full of mail/parcels/packets. This particular manager was at EMC yesterday. Will take weeks for it to get back to a normal level.
I noticed on my short delivery today (it was short because there is no mail )that letters are dated as far back as Sept 19, and lots of them, so backlog is giving RM a kick in the balls :cfo :mfo

or will it be a case of back to work an then we will try an sort the problems...If so...another WEAK move from our union

Heard there was to be talks at 10.00 am this morning but not heard anything about how it went

gate meeting today and staff agreed to go back to work tonight starting with the nightshift, area reps will be in to attend meetings with staff
