Thanks for advice everyone i really didnt want to contemplate walking through and now my mind has been made up, stick at it. Now the problem is when they ring, i have to try and get them to talk to me when i answer lol

Chin up lad! We were out for three weeks solid in 1988 when my wife was expecting and mine was the only wage coming in. We survived, and over twenty years on I've got two grown up kids who know their dad never scabbed. Don't let these scumbags win!

Absolutely not. I would show them how honest working people with integrity and unblemished moral character conduct themselves when others are in trouble and need support.

Of course not, why waste such a superb oppotunity to take the piss out of them. I would stand there all day and cross my arms (standard RM manager posture) while I look at them with that stare - you all know the stare I'm talking about- .
And if so much as one of the managers crossed the line I would shout at the top of my voice "Oi !!! Scab!! Where do you think you're going" and then I'd inform Unite that their sh*t arsed members are ignoring the unwritten rules of solidarity.

Mortgage/rent,gas,leccy,water,tv licence,council tax,are the most important ones,the rest can just f**k off.
There are ways to have reduced payments for most credit that you owe.
Rule of thumb,if you aint got it they cant have it,most companys will bull s**t you about debt collectors and taking you to court,it's all bollox.
I know people that have say a grand debt and they pay back a tenner a month.

Ask for a reduce payment plan for a while,even if you've got a credit card.

What is the point in skinting yourself to pay a debt,i've been there done it and got the t-shirt.

That was just one example, that he used. I'm sure he has others. Still, it's nice of you to acknowledge his sacrifices, and suggest that he be duly rewarded.

Three weeks solid twenty one years ago in the Post Office

That was the 1988 DRAS dispute. We had a one day strike then RM provoked action by suspending
people in different offices around the country. My MC was on strike for two weeks after a guy
on the platform was suspended for refusing to handle mail from WDO which was already on strike.
Other offices were on strike for three weeks.

Well done comrade, remember what this fight is all about when you hit the hard times. In the long-term, when we win we will make back all our losses through better pay.

are you out on strike tomorrow? if so, i don't think your pay will be deducted this week. Also if you pay more than 1/3 of your wage towards your rent I think you can get some sort of rent rebate.

This may be bad advice but what about getting a cheap credit card and using that for essential bills then paying it off through OT? Or why not call/go into your bank and ask for an overdraft or loan attatched to your account? You can check moneysupermarket.com for a list of cards/loans and applications can go through quickly. Obviously DO NOT spend more than you can pay back each month via OT as you will end up in a big hole. And aim to cancel the loan/card after the IA is over.
