Well done the Edinburgh Airport & Mail Centre staff.
That'll teach them to mess with the East Coast's very own crazy gang.

If you were due in for overtime you wont get papered for it if you are out on strike...typical of you lot from the east coast..if glasgow does it we have to do it as well...couldnae see shite but you would want a bit
seriously but once again the posties have been forced out the door to a strike which could have been avoided

Re: Edinburgh mail centre walk out
The whole point of these rolling strikes is for us to get paid aswell as clogging up the system! what you have all done is lost pay and will probably return to worse conditions aswell as threaten the viability of the national ballot!
It was great in the olden days when the opinion was that nobody crosses a picket line! now that we have evolved surely we can see the bigger picture! we are royal mail! we run things! we can get paid to hurt the powers that be!

Re: Edinburgh mail centre walk out
what will happen is if you are out on unofficial action then you will return to sanctions like glasgow mail centre returned to breaks being lost ( which they got back ) lieu days being lost..basically most of the stuff is in THE WAY FORWARD which is a national agreement from 2000 but there will be areas that are hit harder than others like our delivery brothers and sisters and our driving colleaguesEmbraPostie wrote:A stage warning, like when you're off on the sick.johnston65 wrote:Wot do you mean by staged?EmbraPostie wrote:Got a phone call about this earlier this morning.

Re: Edinburgh mail centre walk out
if you havent been issued with a stage 2 yet then so far you are still on a stage 1 regardless of what happens with strikes etc so dont worryEmbraPostie wrote:Cheers, just wasn't sure.johnston65 wrote:what will happen is if you are out on unofficial action then you will return to sanctions like glasgow mail centre returned to breaks being lost ( which they got back ) lieu days being lost..basically most of the stuff is in THE WAY FORWARD which is a national agreement from 2000 but there will be areas that are hit harder than others like our delivery brothers and sisters and our driving colleaguesEmbraPostie wrote:A stage warning, like when you're off on the sick.johnston65 wrote:Wot do you mean by staged?EmbraPostie wrote:Got a phone call about this earlier this morning.
