I almost cried! No not really - but a well written and considered article and as many have said it is a pity it doesn't get a wider audience because it highlights a day in a delivery postmans life - not the postman pat cartoon image but the real image of what it is like to be a full time and part time postman. It is a fair picture, not exagerrated but in some respects does not capture the financial hardship faced by part timers who rely on an ever shrinking overtime pot to make ends meet.
