Today we had to start clearing the backlog from the wildcat strikes at Glasgow Mail Cenre.Hardly any of the mail was pre sorted and we no longer have the staff or experience in the office to cope with trays that need to be walksorted. So we failed about 60 trays of letters, 60 trays of flats and several yorks of packets. And I think 2 walks failed as well.Victory to the Mail Centre I'd say.Well done.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Have had a really cr@p week, report to office every day, been put on duties with loads of stairs/flats my leg is really hurting, today get in to find all the d2d's have been thrown in on the walk i'm doing, asked for a trolley to help keep the weight off my leg, 8 bags no trolley, get a bollocking for cutting off, nearly told them to stuff the job instead I walked out of the office and burst into tears, that was a few hours ago and I still feel like crying. Don't know how much more of this I can put up with.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Heavy again with plenty more mags. The rotation man left most of the Sky and National Trust mags under the frame. I had cleared everything for him so he had no excuses, he even left the kill offs for me to do.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Lots on today, Mails, rubbish, some sky mags and D2Ds, I'm also one of the last ones out of the Office, I took my meal break, had some dickhead shouting "have you had a lie in" in full earshot of the Managers, :evil/mad next thing I know is a Manager asking me why I am late going out, going on about some walks heavier than mine going out earlier, etc I am pretty much sure they haven't took their Meal breaks, he was still carrying on about it on the bay, he intimated a prep rate assesment would be in order, I was fuming, I am going to cull if he tries it on, we ARE NOT going back to those days of threats and intimidation, that how it started with one or two and see how far they can go.

FU CK THAT ! :evil/mad :evil/mad :evil/mad
