Are you delivering less mail than a year ago?

Am i delivering less "Royal Mail" mail the answer is yes. Am i delivering more competition mail the answer is yes i am. Has the amount of mail i am delivering lessened the answer is no, it has increased. The question shoud have been. " Why for years and years that the management have been giving Royal Mail workers all the scare stories about the "competition this and the competition that" sat back and done f*ck all and allowed it to happen?

Whist reducing the quality of customer care and the, level of service forcing customers to find other methods of accepting payment, and orders. Got the " The person who sends the mail our customer doesn't care what time it arrives only that it arrives next day" speech, in WTLL today, when will managers realise that the people who receive mail also send it.

royal mail keep going on about a reduction of 10% year on year.

this is complete rubbish.

since i joined in 2006 we had a small decrease year on year till just before the reccession was announced and then wallah we did seem to have less work.

now its going back up!!!!


the 10% figure was clearly peee rrrred to make it sound like we were losing a steady amount every year when in fact it was the recession which allowed them to distort the figures.

we are not a BT phone line we are human beings who feel the effects of an increase in lifting loading pushing carrying walking etc.

do bosses really think we will just bend over and give in on such issues.
