Just a thought - can you create a word document and attach it to this site where everyone can access and sign their name? If so, i think you should compile a letter which points out where the Spanish Practices are wrong, what situations arise when pay is in fact docked (as opposed to working an extra 20 mins and being paid for 5 hours as claimed) - what Easter/Xmas days you work and are paid for. Basically pointing out where these articles are wrong. You can add current points about working conditions at present.
Then, post it on this site, allow everyone to sign as you would do a petition - and hand deliver it to the Daily Mail and also the Telegraph with the signatures.
Just a thought, but your union are not pointing out the wrongs so i think you should

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
