The two sides blundering into a potentially disastrous national postal strike should see sense and talk peace.
Royal Mail's managers have a duty to seek negotiated changes instead of imposing them.
And the CWU union has to accept that the Royal Mail must change or die.
We will happily suggest a conciliator if the parties cannot come up with an independent figure to broker an agreement.
The Royal Mail is part of our country's fabric. And a national strike during a recession will be in neither side's interests - and earn the contempt of the public.
ANNOUNCEMENT : ALL OF ROYAL MAIL'S EMPLOYMENT POLICIES (AGREEMENTS) AT A GLANCE (Updated 2021)... HERE

I don't even think George Mitchell could broker an agreement with RM at the moment.
No but can I volunteer to be there when they start pouring the concrete over RMs Bunker.

Can't be many that would disagree on that TBT. No progress like this.

Anyone that wants to ruin my free time with my kids by making me work later is the enemy
same with later starts they make it difficult to pick up my kids from school
making my workplace like a work camp
reducing pay as much as possible
They are my enemy

Simple sack all managers and put our union reps in charge and everything will be fine,a company making large profits again.
