i love the way this fella mentioned that the postie got out of the van wearing a baseball cap, like it was a bad thing. Royal mail issue baseball caps as uniform.

I actually rang and txt the show today but they didnt have time for me on air and they didnt read out my txt. i was fuming. i had a list of things to speak about.

Dave ward done us proud i thaught, put the message accross well.

oh and how about the plum that rang up who wasnt in the union telling people its all about absorbtion and not wanting to work to our time. Im thinking a manager in disguise. what do you think???

We all know the truth about how hard our working day has become.

any union in dispute will get a hammering on these shows but what really got me was mike parry saying posties should'nt be allowed to strike,we are being screwed into the ground, the public are getting later deliveries and guess what we are getting the blame what changes in life.

its okay for that fat short armed blubber to moan, but hes got a lovely well payed job airing his ignorant views to the nation for 3 hours a day, but some of us by choice or otherwise are in this job and have to do all we can to make sure those jobs are there in the future. I dont think for one minuite that he would put up with the stuff we have to deal with.

Mike Parry does this all the time mate. He always comes out with ridiculous statements in the hope that folks will call up and debate with him/them. Without the callers they haven't got a show.

Most of the drivel that comes out of Parry's mouth isn't worth listening to anyway.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It's Kelvin MacKenzie's Station - Enough said .
Dont think K Mac has anything to do with the station any more. If he did Alan Brazil wouldnt be on it thats for sure.
Talk Sport did get bought up - He's ( K Mac ) still very sore about it - I stand corrected .

i think Dave Ward came across well on the BBC, he seemed calm and not as militant as Bob Crow. Shame he should have mentioned about the pay docking if unable to complete round....that would have caused an outcry and it should be more public. Many people watch the Beeb.....
