Non RM staff won't come on here and see the real truth behind the papers' crap, as suggested, because they'll likely dismiss it as either a load of bleating postmen who should really be grateful they have a job, or just a load of posties echoing the same sentiments as those on strike. You know, those same sentiments that sections of the public always feel compelled to write and say whenever the subject comes up for discussion?

Either way, they won't go, "oh, we see the light now, and it's clearly all down to abject management etc etc" whatever they've read on here.

well for once i agree with this post from Mr Tman. having just listened to the radio 5 live phone in about the dispute, everything he says here has just been replicated by the public phoning in to this show. we had some lady ringing in and comparing working for RM now as to what it was like when her Dad worked for RM - how many Sky magazines did your dad have to deliver on his round , your usual suspect saying if you dont like the job go and get another - for f--ks sake most posties like their jobs , we will all be better when RM closes down its a dinosaur- of course we will check out the price of a stamp in the rest of europe mate, another small punter that runs a courier service he cant wait till we go on strike because he will get more work - how much do you want mate ? can you manage to deliver these extra million items in your small transit van !! and to all the small business owners why dont you get in touch with your local MP and complain , after all the Government is the main shareholder last time i looked and the Union has offered to suspend strikes if RM get round the table for meaningful talks, what more could they offer FFS.
