the letter said that out wages will be cut for doing it
really pisses me off that
The fact that you think your position on striking is important enough to sacrifice your wages makes that position deserving of respect and consideration.

Even at school, I ve always hated the feeling of being backed into a corner and bullied "well there's nothing you can do anyway" attitude and thats how i feel RM have introduced these changes. So i for one will be voting YES..........
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Some of our colleagues wont have a round if we vote no!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

this is not just about voting for pay and conditions, this is about voting to show RM and others such as the Tories that there is still a strong union in place that will not roll over and die.

absolutely correct and a NO vote would do the total opposite. If you think you dont like your job now, if theres a NO vote itll be brutal and youd get no union to back you up.
If it became a NO vote Id begin looking in the paper for a new job, and I know some people have been at RM so long they may not even have that as a decent option.

Some people in our office are already talking about not going out on strike, blaming the loss of pay. FFS, IF you must SCAB then at least vote YES anyway. Dont screw us all up! If you SCAB then kiss goodbye the union. These people make me mad, they coming crying to the CWU when they need help, but when there's some real hard decisions to make they think only of themselves. Can't have it BOTH ways!

Me, I will NEVER cross a picket and it will be the same for this one.
