One worker boasted on the chat website how he wasted time by filling in "739" forms – which tell a resident who is not at home that they have a parcel to collect – while still at the sorting office, rather than on the doorstep once once he had checked whether the recipient was at home.

Who said this,if anything IT SAVES TIME!!

I actually quoted this in a post I wrote about people deliberately wasting time. I can't remember who originally posted it, but he said he wrote 739's out as 'it wasted more sorting time', whilst boasting about cutting off.

It only saves time if nobody is home, that's irrelevant though as what the paper quoted is correct. Most posties do the job properly, but there are quite a few on here that revel in the fact they're not completing and it's hardly good publicity.

I've looked through your posts and i cant find it,can you have a look then.

The likes of Leighton, Crozier, Brydon, etc.. Who come in, and get lots of money for ruining the service. Ok, so big business get a much cheaper service, and they're happy with what they get. But what about small to medium sized businesses?
What about the Public?

Anyone can asset strip, then run, before the s**t hits the fan. But it takes a REAL Businessman, to make a business grow.

There are actually, some VERY successful Businessmen out there. Who've started at the bottom, built up their businesses, and are now much richer than the RM Fat Cats, could ever dream of becoming. I don't like the methods used by some of them. But at least they've put in the hard graft, in the early years. And stuck with it. Instead of just going from Business to Business. Asset Stripping, and getting rich, off other people's efforts.
