Many moons ago one of the night staff split from his wife, some how one of his friends found out and told the rest of us.
The next night he was on duty he reported for work as usual, as he came through the door someone shouted here comes macauley culkin.
we all looked confused, then he said you know home alone.
No sympathy what so ever. Fair play to him he did have a little chuckle. :Applause

(Leighton talks about bullying in Royal Mail)
"It's a blight. It's not management to colleague, it's more colleague to colleague," he said.
Anyone remember this from a few years back?

Personally I see it as an insult as the only bullying I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot and been subjected to a lot) is Manager v Posties. Hmm, perhaps its because complaints against managers are dealt with via a manager chum who obviously drops the charges and then conducts the poor postie who had the balls to file a H1 claim in the first place. I love a fair trial! :silenced

I have never in my working life come across nicer colleagues. Not saying postie v postie bullying never happens but once again Leighton is talking out of his arse. Just goes to say how far removed from reality he always was. :lfo

Keep up the friendly banter! Some of the best laughs in my life have come from my delivery office! :nana
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

My favourite to a young postie who boasts of his prowess

"When was the last time you made love"

Young postie beaming with pride "Last night"

"No - I meant when someone else was there"

I am a gentleman, there are ladies who use this forum, in fact it could have been a lady young postie - unlike the young postie who had a threesome - him, his hand and a tissue. Am I banned yet? :silenced

Well it's OK - but it's not a lot of fun spanking yourself with a hairbrush, but have you tried sitting on your hand til it goes numb - close your eyes and pretend you're someone else - my wife does that all the time - pretend I'm someone else that is. The role playing mallarkey is a bit too much nowadays, I mean how are you going to disguise a purple button mushroom and eight wrinkles?
