100% in my office and the other one we share the building with.
Loads of laughs on the picket line,we were all there from 5 till 12.
Out of 1700 in our se area about 20 went in apparently.
Word is 2 of our guys went to another office,to be confirmed tomorrow.

A Thousand thanks to the staff at Kings Norton D.O (Birmingham)
Picket started at 4am. We had 2 shifts. 4-7 and 7-10ish. 0 strike breakers from 63. 100% strikers including 11 non union members. Well chuffed.
Had the usual others on the picket line with us. Respect party, union activist from the health service, SWP, stop the war coalition etc. They had a whip round and got us 12 bottles of becks.
Sub post office next door got the coffees in so thanks to them. The rain lashed down hard but all in all it was a successful day.
If we carry on at this rate we'll smash laurel and hardy
Are the rumours true of a full scale BBQ at Moseley D.O?

I've heard that only one office in the BN area was working - Arundel - and a friend just emailed me to say she got her mail in Shoreham
Also told that only one person was going in today at Gatwick MC

99% support where we are; out of 200 people 4 went in 3 non-union, 1 "surprise" union member. 20 on the gate at 4am; up to 60 turned up altogether during morning. Excellent turnout and great appreciated level of support!
Maybe Al and Adam might realise that it's not just about "striking", it's about realising that their letters and videos didn't do a thing to the solidarity of the members of the CWU :)

Just done 430am till 1230pm good turn out, thanks to the supporters from the council and the six form college who turned up and for all the people who wished us luck and gave us food.
We have loads of evidence of driving irregularities by the managers and failing to have the 10 hour break plus picking uninsured people up in vans. IB guy was doing security and spent most of the time chatting to us instead of the scum inside.

Huddersfield 100% solid apparently - no one out of roughly 300 crossed.
Local satellites not so good roughly 75-80% support.
Have heard that Brighouse was about 40% but lads who came up to me and made it known there on here will tell me if I'm wrong.

About 15 strike breakers out of 50ish went in mostly p/t (who complained that they can't afford to lose a days pay) but it will be them who will suffer if we lose and dumb and dumber get their way (no more people made up to full time). I am ashamed of the people who went in and will be showing my displeasure in the morning 
including the one full timer who complains about the duty changes but went in because he needed the money (don't we all).

I got up at three to set off and it was pissing it down, cycled my daily 7 miles and got frickin soaked to the skin. Stayed from 4:30 to 11:30 though to witness a 100% absence in the Sale office as far as I know. Also witnessed my postman who works for the Urmston office scabbing in a van that drove right past us.

100% solid at Clapham s.d.o.,our 2 managers + the d.s.m. and 1 agency worker who we asked not to cross our line,had 161 special deliverys to get rid of.Got there about 5.20am ,left about 8.40am,our area rep and branch chairman turned up to say thanks,told us that there were 50 PICKETS at streatham s.d.o. 
and it was looking very solid across s.w.London.Then made my way to Maidstone mail center where about 25 pickets were on duty,told me that 1 scab went in on the early shift,stayed and had a chat with the boys and girls for about 90 mins.

Come on POSTMAN first one to post after 3:00 am wins a prize There,s me stood in the pouring rain on picket duty 5:00hrs dreaming of a nice holiday in the Greek isles 
I suppose the prize is a whistle and a wristband. Did my hangover a lot of good 
Our office 98 % . But am a little concerned as to the ones who not on picket? Where were they all morning?

At Cambridge Delivery Office, out of 258 OPGs 21 worked. Ten were members and 11 not. One of the members working is an acting manager. Three managers who normally work at other offices turned up as well. I've posted a photo of some of our pickets in the video/photo thread.
I'm a Postman at the Henley Road Delivery Office in Cambridge.
