Heavy day again. Got some election stuff from the local council and took where I was going. 6 recorded items. Very warm and sunny day again.

How the f... can your finishing time be 11 ? (excuse my English)
We do 6 till 1 on a saturday and it is as heavy as any other. We were well and truly stitched up and lied to about possible saturday times when we reorganised.

We're a 5 till 1 on saturdays so we're normally out the door for 8.

We're 6 till 1 and done before 11 usually - we also clear the office of everything, no mailsort left etc. The difference to Mon-Fri is IPS sort time - part time staff come in earlier on Saturdays so we don't have to come off IPS to prep their walks.

Lucky you :cry
If we finish early we would be put on IPS,But then we are doing our jobs exactly by the book the rest of the week so it is no surprise.

Bad day for me, have been put on a duty in a part of town I don't know. I have to take someone else out in the van with me, he's covering this week and don't know the area either. We had reminder register of electors letters today, nearly every house. Put 1st letter through at 10.30 had to cut off at 1.30 as I had to go to for a physio appointment. Took 1 bag back. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better as I will have some idea where I'm going
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

A breath of fresh air so to say today. After the crap of last week today was really light today so had to do full round and finish nearly an hour early.

Monday was really heavy again. Tuesday wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. Strangely, hardly any packets on either day. On Monday, the lad behind me had 1 packet on his walk. :d'oh!
