mailsort didnt go out and i'd say near 50% of packets didnt either.
Plenty of 5pm finishes
sick calls didnt help from those smart enough to know the day after a mail centre strike and bank holiday would be horrific
Still all the PT guys got a few hours OT which all normally goes to the FT staff

5pm finish is a joke but some places are being hit worse than others. Think im lucky to be in such a smoothly run office to be honest.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Another horrendous day, they decided to change the way they run the mech last night, result utter chaos this morning, mech in wrong bodges which were then wheeled off to other sections
Took me 4.35hrs to complete today. After I had finished had to go for an appointment with the ATOS doctor as my Stage 3 is coming up. He reckons my specialist has given me the wrong diagnosis and I'm wasting my time going to physio, why am I not surprised with his opinion.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Back in on Monday and it's been s**t since. The Dom has brought in flexing of hours and there's a few long faces. Place is full of stuff. Spoken to an area guy from the union to get the low down on the flexing as it appears to be being used purely to get the job done on the cheap if you ask me.

Dropped of last postie for first letter at 12.15
plenty of failed specials
posties going sick all over place
the summer staffing cant cope with sudden increase in mail yet no sign of filling vacancies or increasing PT contracts
