Increase in DSA
There has been a big increase in DSA coming into our Mail Centre over the last two months,does this have anything to do with the strikes?

Don't know ,but I'd guess 75% of our recent mail has been subsidized DSA crap .Guess thats where our five years pension heist went?

Do you mean have more customers switched to using DSA rather than Mailsort etc due to strikes or do you mean you're getting DSA for other locations shunted onto you?
We had >1,000,000 DSA in today, some has been tipped outside all this week do to the MC being crammed full.

New DSA customers or the existing ones stepping up volumes? Could be a seasonal thing? Not having been here this time last year can't comment on that. DSA is predicted to form a greater % of mail volumes, due to mandy pandy sulking over the sell off a change to regulatory enviroment is in limbo.
The following is from the chairman of Business and Enterprise Committee in Early July
The Postal Services Bill, which apparently now lies in limbo - I am not entirely sure of its exact status or what the intentions are - contains some very important regulatory changes, bringing Postcomm within the remit of Ofcom, which this Committee supported. It is a very important change. It sounds a bit technical to the outside world, but we now have a regulatory vacuum created where neither organisation knows where it is going. It is really important that the regulatory changes are brought forward. They are not part of the financial package in the same sense as I can see that the pension deficit, capital, and part-privatisation were. I can understand your wanting to link those. Regulatory change stands apart and separate and is crucial for the health of the system now; so what is going to happen to the regulatory environment?
