A POSTMAN arrested after staging a rooftop protest within minutes of being sacked should find out if he will be charged next week.
Father-of-one Paul Dawson scaled Royal Mail's Burslem delivery office on August 11 after being sacked for a previous rooftop protest.
The 39-year-old, from Ball Green, was quizzed by police following the protest. He is due to answer bail next week.
Mr Dawson was at the Scotia Road delivery office yesterday to support colleagues taking part in a two-day strike over changes to working conditions.
He said: "I'm told it's in the hands of the CPS now and they're deciding whether to take further action.
"It's been extremely stressful."
Mr Dawson was one of 12 employees suspended at Burslem two years ago over allegations of bullying, sparking weeks of strikes by sympathetic colleagues.
He was subsequently exonerated, but in March he climbed on to the roof to demand an apology.
