sales

Got told in the warm up today that it is now mandatory with every bill paying customer we have to go with home phone. We might as well just sell home phone and nothing else because 99% of customers pay bills. Has anybody else been told this or is this another thing our manager has made up because it would not be the first time.

Hello Claire. Can you do something for me? Can you ask your manager where it states in the sales code of conduct that you have to offer HP to 'every' bill-payment. :hmmmm

They will of course reply with something like "that it is not in the sales code of conduct as that is a broader agreement that does not go into specific products." :cuppa

Would you please, then ask your manager if a 'National Agreement for Selling Homephone' exists, signed off by Andy Furey, that states that every bill payer MUST be sold HP. :dance

As anything that a clerk has to do that is MANDATORY, such as mails integrity, following the attendance procedure, balancing correctly, compliance etc etc ALWAYS has a POL produced document or agreement in place to ensure that both parties adhere to it...

PS - just remembered some older posts of yours Claire, it seems you are still being fed the same old flannel! Just look back at the other posts you made and my responses to them. NOTHING has changed.

I am looking for a copy of the Sales Code Of Conduct Agreement - I think a 'refresher' may be needed in our office shortly!

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Hello BFO - in the office where i work there is a copy of the sales code pinned to the notice board - ask your union rep where you work and i expect they will do likewise - therefore making it easy for all staff to refer to.
