Three trays worth of flats, and loads of those SAGA things that are coming through with the packets, about six months worth in a plastic bag...............bloody heavy.

One Special and only one recorded contributed to a rare 12:15 ontime finish.

Bloody ridiculous, a local housing association decided to send out a mag to all it's residents, then after we had banded up we were informed we had three days to deliver the bloody things, hence a 13:15 finish.

Heavy as hell today, they put through MS3 that should have gone out yesterday plus the load that came in today, they really couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Really heavy, loads of mags again, everything seems to be wrapped in plastic lately. 5 minutes over my time. Saw the customer whose dog bit me, she thinks it probably thought I had a biscuit in my hand as the guy who delivers the papers gives it a biscuit

That really wouldn't surprise me...last Saturday got told we had to clear our frames and this included mailsort, this was because the manager wanted to clear the office of the backlog from the strikes..a lot of people claimed OT or cut off.Pegman wrote:Probably savinng it all for Saturday to make up for all the mailsort you don't have to take outghostgirl wrote:Extremely light in our office which is unusual for a Thursday...same yesterday...strange...bet tomorrow will be heavy though.

We don't take out mailsort on Saturdays end of, it gets sorted into trays and tucked under the frame, thats the agreement in our DO, and we all work to it.ghostgirl wrote:That really wouldn't surprise me...last Saturday got told we had to clear our frames and this included mailsort, this was because the manager wanted to clear the office of the backlog from the strikes..a lot of people claimed OT or cut off.Pegman wrote:Probably savinng it all for Saturday to make up for all the mailsort you don't have to take outghostgirl wrote:Extremely light in our office which is unusual for a Thursday...same yesterday...strange...bet tomorrow will be heavy though.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Another nightmare today, so much mail is coming in that all those people who have been taken off IPS to prep their frames are being put back onto IPS just to try and cope, the DOM hid in his office and when told that people where going to be over he asked was it heavy
PS. Mailsort has started to come down to us in bags again so can anyone from the NIMC let me know why?
