i don,t understand those who go on strike and then run around trying to get all the work out. the excuse is always the same "i'm gonna have to do it tomorrow anyway" d'heads.

what you will find is that in our area they are using the indoor workload tool and saying that we do not have enough mail and are not working hard enough and that we should all be finished in time and that is why we are being threatened with suspension of pay for cutting off

exactly the same in our office. Their latest scam is that you must prep 25 items a minute on a prep 2000. Total crap because however quick you are if there is a lot of mail you can't get anywhere near it. Interviews with the DOM, threat of conduct code and suspension of pay. All unagreed rates of working which i would like to see those clever buggers do .

IWT is not agreed yet so they should not be using it - has anyone gone to ADR or even the DDR to get guidance.

Yeah we've had that at several offices, however the threat has been lifted temporarily. I hope your blokes are not intimidated into working past their time because if we let these bullying **** get away with it this is the way we will be working for the rest of our time with RM. Always under threat ! The national ballot goes out on the 16th., i believe, we MUST return a "yes" vote.

My office now in 3rd week of working your contract, 10.15 start ,no cars, taking lunch break ,hand to hand pouches and correct weights, refusal to do overtime etc has all caused a backlog already and no lapsing of walks as we return too late to justify going out again.
Rumour has it AM believed offices going out at 10.15 and finishing at 1300 so lapsing imposed, in reality it was 9.15 start with meal relief at end of duty and going home ...... deliberate blind eye by AM or misinformed by DOM to achieve clear office ?

Day 3 of DJP, some Culls, some extendeds, I extended 2 hours, such is the workload, the impact is felt in Area, some supervisors have been drafted in from other Offices to convey Posties out, the Canteen is packed, some still not taking meal breaks before going out, at least they are not using Cars, I enjoyed my meal break I got the feeling many Posites will like this way of doing things so much that they will never go back to their old bad habit (hopefully) its much more relaxing and less stress, lets keep it ongoing

all the late processing operation in our building has been put on delivery until 5.00 pm and up to 15 people could be taken off pay.
there was a meeting from the managers who said they would ban cars but at the moment it was not possible and indeed were trying to convince people to use them as the equipement was not in place,needless to say no one has been taken of pay yet but again threatened.
will not be able to take people off pay monday as we are on strike.
also found out today that over 15 million items are gridlocked in the distribution centers and that mail centers are failing to clear around us

You better believe it because when they do that the office wont know what hit them,they have done it in ours and they wont stop at that either so let the littlle lady who was in the car she better wake up and smell the coffee why?well in ours they now are taking full time staff of thier dutys and employing part time staff to do the job,would not mind but the walks are so big now alot of the full time staff cant compleat the walks thing is those people who have been taken on have substantive contracts but we have staff already there who are on temp contracts so beware you have been told whats going on in an office not a millon miles from you!
