There have been loads posted on this subject so whilst i have never had the pleasure of seeing one of these beasts i would think that like many of RMs purchases and ideas these will prove to be just as crap
If you've never even seen one, how can you make any sort of valid judgement? Do you know of any other such RM purchases which can be considered "crap"?

Or do you think British posties can't operate machinery as well as the Dutch ones?

I think that he's basing his assumptions about the new machines (which he hasn't seen yet), on his experience of the existing ones. As well as what he's read about them.

1/ Magnum shoes.
2/ Mopeds.
3/ fleece jackets.
4/ Other postal firms.
5/ panniers
6/ The name Consignia.
7/ Mail pouches.
8/ polo shirts.
9/ RM cycle helmets.
10/ Adam Crozier.
11/ RM trousers.
12/ Allen Leighton.
That's really relevant. Asking what "crap" mech machines RM have bought brings a list of stuff as diverse as uniforms and a brand name. Great reply. :arrrghhh

adding more links in a chain that can break for little gain is fool hardy at best and flies in the face of real modernisation where other firms try to simplify and shorten operations communications and expenditure whilst ours is doing the complete opposite adding new tiers of machines and moving operations further apart whilst giving all our customers a poorer service does not make good business sense to me.
Yeahbut that's you, and all your "knowlege" probably comes from here or the canteen. Hardly a good basis for an impartial evaluation.
