Royal Mail staff let down by their union

UNION BETRAYAL: Having worked as a walking postmen for many years until retirement in 2000, my memories of the Royal Mail are at most happy ones. I fact I used to feel I had the best job in England.

However things have changed. My former friends and workers tell me of changes that sound like a living nightmare. I can hardly believe stories of what one is expected to carry.

However having read over the years many copies of Voice, the communication workers' quarterly magazine, my views on the union leadership have become somewhat jaundiced.

It appears the union has been taken over by politically correct Marxists who are more interested in peddling their own failed creed than looking after the interests of their long suffering members.

"politically correct Marxists" is a term the BNP use all the time, it seems an oxymoron to me(with my limited political knowledge) how a Marxist(with there views about the bourgeise) can be politically correct, but I'm sure someone can tell me? on second thoughts please don't put yourself out  on strike tomorrow so off down the pub :angel

quite a BNP presence there too - anyone to the left of Genghis Khan is a Commie / Trot or leftie :hmmmm - Billy Hayes - A marxist ? :left: - " Creed " & " Politically Correct " are Glass - Eyed Nick stock phrases :hmmmm

they espouse the solidarity union - £5 per week subs , RM don't recognize them BUT they will represent you at your Industrial Tribunal :chuckle .
