Yorks Dist Centre

Post by postie col »

Following implementing duties at the YDC Normanton by managment (sent to drivers in the post) and following a yes for strike action .
They will be out for 24 hours on wednesday 19 august,to show their disgust and the way managment will not speak to the union, just to say it is drvers that are going out,due to no agreement on network 09

Hello mate will move this to the MC forum.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I was talking to our regular YDC driver tonight, not a bad lad for a Bradford Bulls supporter :Very Happy

Any way he has over 24 years in and has got a new duty as a leave reserve, another has 37 years in and has a similar duty. Do we really have to put up with crud like this, they did a similar thing in Hull two years ago just allocated duties. Some very junior people got some right nice duties whilst other where dumped on. The trouble is it splits the workforce up and Royal Mail are going to use this time and time again to weaken the whole union.

MTSF has not been good for any of us and we need to support actions such as the comrades at YDC until we can all join in.
I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.
