What a load of rubbish...He doesnt know the meaning of the word stress. Ah diddums he has to do a different walk most days, would guess 20% of the whole work force have to do this. Sounds like he needs to piss off to asda's and work on the tills. We have a guy at work whose young wife has had at least 2 strokes. They have 2 kids and after a days work he looks after them all. Now thats f***ing stress but he gets on with it and hardly ever moans. This workmate of yours just needs a kick up the arse and some reality.

Better watch out ..... you will get banned for a week for talkin like that ....... IT HAPPENED TO ME AND THEY WONT ANSWER ME WHY ! ! !

well said..
Come off driving its easy enough just write a letter to manager. Thats solved 1 problem. How anyone can be stressed due to our job is unbelievable. Not saying they dont have problems out of work but they are not stressed solely due to being a postie. The job is a piece of piss. Go and work in a factory for 10 hours a day on minimum wage.
I have worked in a number of factories doing 12 hour shifts, day shift, back shift, night shift. At least you know exactly when you are going to finish and you are usualy on the same job.You don't get all the sh*t from the managers that you get from the RM management.RM management cause 99% of the stress.
Well we have a start and finish time in this job so we know when we are going to finish. I have worked in a factory and you get managers just as bad as in RM, they dont really differ wherever you work as they are usually getting pressure from there bosses so take it out on us at the bottom. RM management only cause stress if you let them.

Very sad if you get banned for an opinion. Not really a chat site if you get censored or banned for things. Could understand things like racial issues though.

BACK ON TOPIC PLEASE

BTW Calspy - you got plenty of warnings about your postings but you carried on - Postman owns the site he says what goes and what doesn't does not. Simple isn't it.

Now your back take the ban and move on obey the rules and listen to the warnings and learn from them.

POSTING GUIDELINES/RULES

Ongoing actions that make more work for the Moderators and Administrators or regularly annoy other members and require moderator action will not be tolerated. If banning you is easier than dealing with the problems you are causing, you will be banned.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It's Postmans site so it's Postmans rules, if you where invited into someones house would you just say and do whatever you want :hmmmm just think of that whenever you think of postings on this site.

And, what's the point of making provocative posts that just seem to wind people up, the original poster asked for some advice regarding stress (which RM at least say they take seriously), I've been in the same situation of never knowing what duty I had to do everyday and it does get to you, you feel that because of your abilities (being able to do other duties easily) you are being picked on and that can cause all sorts of mental problems (depression, anxiety, insomnia, paranoia etc.).

It shouldn't be up to you to ask what you are supposed to be doing, that's just pure bad management. At the weekly resource meeting the following weeks arrangements should be worked out and then that information should be then given out to the members of staff that it affects. This management thingy isin't too difficult :Very Happy let people know what they are expected to do and they WILL be happier and less stressed out.

Hold tight,ok yes it's my site but the rules are the rules, and have been put together with the help of the net and the RMC team.
They are the site rules, you break them you get the consequences,be it a banning by,me,teebs, andy, johnny and so on.

Post what you like, nothing to do with me as long as it's within the rules.

Can we move on please.

Change the record you were warned you carried on what should we do ignore it. Your views as with anyone else's are not in question, its your style of posting
calpsy wrote:Its like hes playing God :left:
So - he PAYS for the site - he does all the work behind the forums and you say he cant decide who he lets on here or Not :arrrghhh
calpsy wrote:As I said .... NEVER slagged anyone off or called them a name and STILL got banned . :left:
Again it was the style of posting people complained about - not the content, we warned you you carried on, next step was banning. Its almost as though you were trying to be banned but then your not an Internet troll are you.
calpsy wrote:nice work
You disagree with us banning you or with us try to stop flame wars started by your style of posting, then do what Management say - if you don't like it leave.

Anyway Back on Topic - any comments not on topic after this post (except by Admin or Mods) will be deleted as its against the rules.
