Heavy again today, too many people on prep/prep and not enough on IPS, which has a knock on effect to people getting out late (doesn't affect me, I just cut off at the end of my time :Very Happy ).

Really light day, 2 large trays of mail and a pouch. Quite a few large parcels. Would've been done by 11 but some idiot fly tipped a load of rubble in a country lane and I had to do a 4 mile detour :arrrghhh Now off for a week :nana :nana :nana
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Yesterday i had a really good day, sent back 2 bundles of mail, and plenty of packets. Dom even told me i could keep packets in house, had second thoughts and went to post office. Only to find the mail had already been collected.
Should be a interesting day tomorrow.

Friday was a bit easier. Saturday was not bad at all, very good for packets. Monday was busy. Last week we went on to 2/3rd of a row for lapsing, from 1/3rd previously.

Ha Ha, we are still talking lapsing WTF is that? something from the Chinese take away on a Saturday night? Stll not done any and wont because i dont have time if you do its because you walks easy! (Get over it and do it!) Or your a flyer (Try to do your job properly instead of risking your job and life!) or an office creep (Fill your boots youl get what you deserve!) FFS how hard is this? WE WORK OUR HOURS NO MORE NO LESS unless we wish!
I agree there are a lot of people who work at my do, who have had it easy for a long time, they basically have being working 30 hours and getting paid for 40 hours, not saying this is happening everywere but some of the walks in my place are a joke i.e 2.5 hours, others are over 4 hours?. So you have this divide between people finishing 1.5 hours early, and those going over there time, fair I dont think so. These guys with the easy walks are in for a shock as we have had a revision and it is way out as I have done quite a few walks and some of these are going to be 4.5 hours?. This revision took 2 years and they still got it way wrong.

For the first time in months, I actually finished early  only by 20 minutes but it's still early and when I arrived back in the office I went looking for my lapsing only to find it not there  so I waited until my finishing time and then went home :Very Happy :dance

Linkin, you are a complete idiot. My walk, as are many of the walks in our office, take about 4 hrs. I don't call that easy, with nearly 550 drops and a call rate of about 90%. As for the lapsing, well theres a silver lining there. If people can't do the job in time, they claim the docket, which also stops the problem of willful delay/ conduct issues. As for being a flyer, no, I come in on time and do the job right. I also have to say that I work in one of the biggest and busiest offices in Manchester, but we are surrounded by offices with less mail and easier walks.
