Re: WHO DO YOU CALL
If you have an accident, ring no one except emergency services etc. and leave the mail in the street, not your responsibility if you're injured

Re: WHO DO YOU CALL
Who ya gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS!!!
More chance of help from them than managers out spending their ill-gotten bonuses and not answering the office phone. Which would make a most interesting H & S case in court should an accident occur out on duty .......

Re: WHO DO YOU CALL
This is a H&S matter pure and simple - there should be an emergency contact number at all times. In our DO we have one for after 2.00pm. The normal one is manned by a Manager until that time and to be fair to the DOM it does appear as though he does ensure this happens.ldsposti wrote:HI all doe's any other office have this problem or is it just ours time and time again if any of our staff has a problem while out on their walk they have trie'd to phone the office only for it to go onto the anwerphone more often than not we find out that the manager has gone home at 11.00, as luck happened i stayed in the office on monday and sure enough the manager went home at 11.10 this realy gets to me and the other staff do they not have a "DUTY OF CARE" anyone got any ideas how to to flag this up ?
If you have no local IR Rep or H&S rep then track down and contact you Area H&S Rep sharp.
