Threatened while delivering Door 2 Door items

I suppose it really depends on where you live. I've heard similar stories before. But my local Police, usually do a good job. They're understaffed, and it shows. But they do put the effort in. Particularly on the couple of occasions when my Wife has been the victim of Armed Robberies, at the Shop where she works. They caught one, and the other is still at large. But they're still looking for him.

Considering how few of them there are, for an area this size. I can't praise them highly enough! Surely it's worth contacting them, just in case. There must be more areas than mine, where they put the effort in.

Well if the police don't take it seriously I'd report them to their highers. Sometimes they need a kick up the arse.

I had an incident where a customer verbally threatened me for not closing his gate, I went straight to the Police and filed the report myself, the Police went round and give him a severe talking to with the threat of arrest next time, the customer was more respectful since, I knew my supervisor wouldn't have done anything so it was up to me, I take no sh1t off anybody.

I must admit I was tempted to superglue his door locks for a moment, but It would easily be traced to me, so instead I skiffed his letter along my arse before posting it

One thing i do know it is illegal to threaten a person in uniform,what the lout did was verbal assult on a uniformed officer,the laws protect police,prison,court staff and yes the postman army,navy RAF,it's frowned upon for we have some thing in common we wear the Queens crown it might not mean alot but your silly DOM should get his pen in gear,get one of his lackies to deliver the letter telling the person that his delivery has been suspended and that the police will be dealing with the matter,see how he feels about that it might make him think the next time.

I've never heard of a uniform giving extra legal protection.
That must be why servicemen think they're above the law and policemen can beat up lawful demonstrators.
