Hmm,even if you get selected, and you are a nice guy, hoping to stay a nice guy, forget it if you are trained the royal mail way!A few weeks as lino, and you turn in to the Incredible hulk!Very sad to say, chancers crawlers, and folks that should have been booted out long ago, given promotion, ahead of the 'nice' guys--at least in our office, and the few good guys who do get through leave the job---which is a shame.

Why anyone would want to take on a managers roll with the up coming disputes and the inforcement of lapsing is beyond me as most are doing break offs in the afternoons anyway I think i would wait till the coming storm passes and then see if i still fancied it

I was never thinking about persuing a managers position i was just wondering how the system worked and the courses they undertake to career progression

Operation TIGER it is no joke they just took their time till the economic conditions were right for them while they they took massive bonuses and still will even more so since we get NOTHING!.

Operation Tiger was the code name that RM senior management to a 10% cut in hours across the board (excluding management), it was 'exposed' by The Mirror a while ago.
