I think what you meant to say was 'because of a 10% reduction in mail, there was no mail again for me to deliver today'delboy wrote:Today was a nightmare not had a day as busy as this for weeks....

About normal for a Wednesday in our office. Had a bit of lapsing to do, which involved a bit of travel too. Found out that our lapsing will increase from half a row each to two thirds as of next week. Got caught in the rain about 1.30 until I finished.

hi everyone im a pissed off postie at watford we are being told to absorb at the moment but the walks are to long with out adding anything more to them.i didnt take out any extra today and made them pay me overtime for my own walk and my mate on the shared van done the same.but some people are going out as early as 8 30AM doing there walk and the absorb and STILL getting the van back at 1230ish.
complete tossers just because they have second jobs they want to get done these pr**s will make us all part time
stop being scared of the twats that run the place get some bloody back bone and stand up and fight these bastards :cfo :lfo :mfo this is to all at watford stop going out early take youre break at work and get to keep youre job as you no it

i think that all the pr**s that go out early should have to hand the van keys back to the union rep then they wont be able to sneak back in lick the managers arse and piss off home or to there 2nd job then the union could throw them out see how brave they are when there on there own

Busy as usual, although strangely, there were a few gaps here and there on my walk today. Packets seemed on the light side, maybe people on holiday not ordering their usual E bay stuff. Very heavy rain, with thunder and lightning early morning until about 10.

same old faces going out at 8 doing it as quick as poss then doing the absorb and getting the van back at 12
dont get these pr**s do they want to be part time
im getting fed up with putting my neck on the block to save are jobs.think the cwu should have a vote do we want to go part time at least we would all no where we stand at watford then with the cowards that work there

I've had a quiet day, if you can call it that. 90% of my drops. poxy geo route. It makes a change to have a quiet day as I'm going through the fifth attempt by my DOM to blacken my record. I'm a rep and have been the victim of 4 audatious stitch ups to get me the sack. All i've done is to perform my role as CWU rep.

my contract is for 4.5 hours a day
being interviewed by my DOM tommorow
Really looking forward to it actually.

Busy day playing catch up after 2 relatively easy days. Loads of packets. At least the sun was shining.

About as heavy as yesterday, but a lot less packets. Sun was out again.
