maternity leave

hello , im new here and hope someone can help me. in sept. 2007 i started working for royal mail but after a few months i fell pregnant and im now on maternity leave until december 09, my problem is this...........i just found out im 2 months pregnant again, this wasnt planned or expected but now i would like to know what royal mail are likely to do, will they try and pay me off or will they let me go from one maternity leave to the next, thanks for any help forthcoming.

They'll not get rid of you, it would be illegal for them to do so, as for your maternity leave, take it off to December then come back (usually on light duties) and work until you're due off and take your entitlement.

After your maternity leave ends in December 2009 just return to work as usual and get risk assessed to see what jobs you can do whilst you are pregnant, there is no qualifying period just return to work and then go through the usual maternity leave procedure (e.g. notifying employer of maternity leave, etc) you will not be penalised you are entitled to maternity leave again as long as you return to work.
