Just about sums up royalmails deceit lies and diktat and the CWU's naivety that this was a good agreement for all.

Well spotted Cut off King. I agree quite a well balanced article don't think many posties would disagree with the sentiment. We all just want a fair days wage for a fair days work... without all the Management Bullshit! CWU and RM head banging session also a good idea.

Who choice "Hellmail" for a name? :dance Might adopt it for any Management announcements pinned to the notice board, they only give you bad news ;liar

The fall in mail volume is perfectly normal for this time of year, there is no need to panic. As soon as September appears the volume will go up! Same old, same old!

It's not an article as such,it's written by a postie and not the site.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I am not surprised this as happen (the Agreement is a good one), however, when I first looked at the drafted copy of the Pay and Modernation Agreement, I actually did wonder what was meant by these 'Working Groups' in phase 4 and which parties were involved. RM are wrong because this Agreement overall is between RM and CWU and they should honour this Agreement.

I think the postie has got it spot on. He presented an un biased view, imho. I agree with the points he made and I too would like to see both parties talk and come to an agreement.

one of the few to consistently write balanced articles , there's even some counterpoint ones ( or there was :hmmmm ) to Mrs White' s dog whistle / rabble rousing articles - problem is that there's RM managers that think they are being clever parroting all this stuff out . If you read " The Daily Express " enough times you could sound like one of their editorials too :hmmmm and that's all some of these articles are , a poor man's version of The Sun or Express :hmmmm

Mark Cox's " Driving down terms and conditions " is a good one .
