I was shocked in a way to see RM resonse to part day strikes.I know they have American Lawyers who are doing all they can to disrupt strike action .Being fair looks like they are earning their money so far,Not sure the leaders of CWU really want a fight,I mean think of Billy ,he needs a nice safe labour seat some where .

But if the CWU really want to fight RM wich most of the membership does ,do to the way we are being treated,sureley the CWU should seek advice form other unions say in the USA
or Europe.
I beleive a national strike will get very nasty and a lot of bullying from RM ,so it is important we are fully prepared for it.

Another stupid idea,At this time how about National Officers visting local areas or just big citys so they can gt a feel for whats happening on the ground.My local rep does a great job but is let down by other reps in the area.This helps RM to Conquer and divide.

There should be no excuse for CWU not having a long-term strategy for industrial action of whatever nature to combat RM. There has been plenty of time for National Officers to do their homework on trade union legislation etc since the last national dispute. Not to mention the services of the TUC etc, presuming we still belong to it!
