CWU F*** UP STRIKES AGAIN!!

Post by POSTMAN »

Just got wind that 3 offices in SE Lon CANNOT go on strike on Fri/Sat as HQ or whoever has put the wrong date on the notification to RM.
That's a hat trick now aint it!!

The offices are se2,28 and 19.

PS:Would love to show you the 2 emails i've recieved on this, the language........There's some pissed off posties out there!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Give me strength! ... today i was having to make apologies to the guys for the poor communication on behalf of HQ in respect of ballots, IA etc ... what effing chance do hard-working Reps stand when this sort of stuff is going on!

Look i know its easy to knock the CWU for the ballot issues but have any of you ever had to do 150 notices ensuring times ,dates numbers and shifts and OPGs and OPGs support are all correct. We have had 4 strike days amd more to come which means we have had to serve something in the region of over a thousand notices for London alone and if only 3 mistakes have occured i hardly thing that is a major disaster.

In any case Royal Mail`s move today on part day action means we have to consider our tactics going forward. More will follow on this in due course

I'm all for the CWU but at the end of the day its a paid for service and standards need to be met. Lately the incompetence of the CWU is matching the ROYAL MAIL'S with both not knowing their arse from their elbow!

Local level CWU seem to have it fairly sorted but HQ are becoming a joke.

What move on part day action is this? Can you share with us now or do we put forward part day action and it gets thrown out?

Can you confirm how many people HQ have processing the requests for IA, it wouldnt be just one by any chance?

I would hate to think members have been encouraged to submit requests for IA only for the request to sit in limbo?

You need to add a few more on to that list postman. We were told this morning that we are not going out now because the union f**ked up.
