London post workers start strike

C'mon upmyroad, its not just London, posties have been taking I/A up and down the country,from ipswich to inverness and some of our scottish brothers and sisters have lost more than £300 but the reality is if RM are allowed to carry on with this slash and burn policy then they will probably reduce your annual income by a couple of thousand!!!

I understand the financial problems I/A cause's but if WE the members do not win this fight then i believe our working lives and conditions will become a whole lot worse, cos this is ultimatley about de-recognising our union.

Immaterial IMHO mate - loads of offices have asked for ballots and are waiting for it, some are being balloted and awaiting the result, 2,000 posties outside of London have been on strike and Scotland Offices were out before London was. Other posties are working as they should and defying changes as far as possible. With the CWUs tactic of individual ballots the current situation was bound to develop, lets hope we get a Yes on the National Ballot. Lets not start fighting amongst ourselves thats exactly what they RM want.

Look I voted for action i'M willing to strike. I an striking I will not cross a picket line. The union is lossing support because it's now dragging it's feet on balloting the rest of it's member's. IFWE ARE GOING TO STRIKE THEN IT'S ALL OR NONE. NOT 1 IN 10. GET IT SORTED
