POLICE have begun searching an area in Mold near the spot where postman Paul Savage was murdered more than six years ago.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “Today, Monday July 27, North Wales Police officers will start to search an area in fields off Clayton Road in Mold, close to Bryn Gwalia Primary School as part of an ongoing murder investigation.
“Paul Savage, a postman, was attacked on Clayton Road in February 2003.
“Specialist search trained officers are being utilised to search for what investigating officers describe as ‘evidence which will significantly progress the investigation’.”
