Went over by half an hour due to the lapsing. Only 17 packets in all on my walk. Weather was warm but a bit cloudy, showers started just as I finished.

Started raining just before I left for work this morning, stopped about 6 hours later. There was so much stuff this morning I reckon at least 3 days of stuff was tipped. Are they allowed to put stuff out before the days its due? Water Bills, Sky Mags and any old crap they could basically get there hands on :arrrghhh Oh and to top it off my shoes arn't waterproof :d'oh!

on saturday the guy that covers my duty was moved to an aother walk, only about a third of the dutys mail was prepped, then another postie was sent out with what had been prepped the rest was just left on the frame or at the IPS.I came into this on Monday and told the dim I wouldnt be able to completer my delivery as most of saturdays mail hadnt been prepped,he was fine with this as long as I worked to my time and he would get what I left(2 streets,80calls).today I went in and the 2 streets were still in the frame, I was then told I was one of the people who would be taking part of a lapsed duty,I told the dim I didnt have enough time because of the mail left from sat and monday,he claimed he didnt know mail had been left but lapsing HAD to be done ,in the end I had to leave 1 of my streets (49 calls)to take 45 calls from the lapsed duty, where the feck is the thinking behind this, these cants are so blinkered by RM policy as they see it common sense is right out the window

Another bad day.
got started on the street at 10am when it should be 9 no sympathy from managers though just questioned on why it took me so long to sort my mail.
What a joke that is, especially when I am part time and my entire job is supposed to be prepped! and should therefore not be sorting ANY mail. Got finished at 1.15pm with only a five minute break ,phoned the office at 1pm to tell them i was passed my time and eneded up having a 10 minute argument with my line manager. Almost at breaking point with them, have been telling them for three months that job doesnt work and they have never re tested job as they keep promising me. bunch of charlatans the lot of them!
