Ignorant Royal Mail Managers

i work at SHREWSBURY MAIL CENTRE,Where we have had a new mail centre manager,He has been here for about 6 weeks, and he HAS NOT HAD THE DESCENCY TO INTRODUCE HIMSELF to any of the staff!!!!!
We also had a new night shift manager who has done exactly the same, plus we have had a new distribution manager who did the same, but this one is WORSE, HE'S JUST PIG IGNORANT AND JUST WANTS TO SACK EVERTONE OR TAKE THEM DOWN THE CONDUCT CODE.
IS THIS JUST HAPPENING IN SHREWSBURY OR ARE NEW MANAGERS IN ROYAL MAIL THE SAME EVERYWHERE.
YOUR COMMRNTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED?

NO!! 2 of them are graduates and dont really know how to speake to people.

How spooky is that? We've got a DOM who is a jock! Do they train these idiots enmasse in Scotland and then ship them South? (Perhaps we should rebuild Hadrian's wall and ship them back, hard working Scottish posties excluded of course!)

No joking we do have a translation problem! Sometimes no one can understand what he's shouting and it takes a few goes to realise he's saying, "Ladies and gents can we have everyone on the frames please!" My impression wouldn't work in print

I must admit he's very animated the day after a football match, and always has something to say to fellow footie fans. The trouble is you can't understand that either!! LOL

No offence but you really need to take that to the PM because you can't identify people on the main board.

For my sins, and I saw the light very quickly, I had a go as acting manager for a while. I stopped doing it because all the new DOM would say at meetings was, "We have to conduct code more people, we need to sack staff. " He would then explain how to do it.

He then explained how he was going to sack all the managers that were people friendly and bring in his 'rottweilers' from his old office. Well what a shambles. I think someone forgot to tell him rottweilers cannot read or write!

Needless to say I stopped acting because i felt this was atrocious mis-management and I could see plenty of constructive dismissal cases coming up over the next few years.

Believe me when I say, there is an agenda out there and i wanted no part of it.
