WTL&L today Tuesday 26 June

Post by PHP »

Did anyone have WTL&L today? If so, what did the muppets say?

Our DOM bottled it! :nana

All we had was a union meeting, in which our rep told us that he didn't expect anyone to cross the picket line as it was a nationally agreed strike and promised any potential strike breakers that he wouldn't represent them in any disciplinary action. He also went on to say that we're the only DO in west London that have refused the efficiency savings, and this could also lead to further industrial action in the area and asked if he had our support.

WTL

Post by coppertop »

Our WTL was our dom telling us how to behave on the picket line. And nobody other than those comming into work were allowed to use the carpark. A sad day when they get that bitchy, this we think is in hope that not too many people will turn up for picket duty. We have worked out a shift system so that it is covered allday. I am very supprised at the amount of union members who are going to cross the line into the dark side. Me and all of the picket duty say thatr they should do the decent thing and resign from the union. :cfo :lfo :cfo :lfo

They should do the decent thing and die! They're using up air which decent people should have.

Never forget! A scab is not a person. It is a sexually transmitted disease.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

Ours was more or less about strike + that those of us who strike can't book overtime on Sat or next Monday. I'll just have to cut off on these days anyway cos I'm a 30hr contract but always on a 40hr duty.
Also about picket lines not blocking the highway etc.
Oh yeah, and generally, we aint allowed to booke overtime at all now without telling a manager we will go over before we go out and about quality of service blah blah blah!
Our dom is off!!!
When I die, bury me face down so everyone can kiss my arse! :o)

even Ian wright on talk sport was taking the piss out of crozie today .he even agreed with us that the pay offer was unjust[ and yes he didn't know it was not just about pay] and his presenter to.if i remember rightly his comment was yes crozier hes a real nice man[ said with extreme sarcasm]
