Exactly. They messed up pretty badly in '07. But they seem to have learned from their mistakes. I just hope it works!

Apparently our ballot papers are due Friday, only one office out of the whole area has'nt asked for a ballot yet(not including SPDO's obviously). Not sure how the vote in my office will go as no one seems to know why we are going on strike as all the changes have already been bought in. Has anyone got anything I can print out?

Is erith/bexleyheath in your sort of area,as the DSM thinks everything is hunky dory over there.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

No they are not in our area, I thought they would be in the same CWU region as you. I don't think its hunky dory anywhere, our DOM has gone over to another office for a while, the changes have'nt been bought in there yet :hmmmm

So it maybe delayed a little with our strikes tomorrow so two weeks should be enough if you fill it in the day you get it.

Most of the PE area being balloted at the moment it seems. Our own office is due papers soon, in relation to rounds being absorbed in our office. i.e. being split up into parts and we have to deliver extra on top of our own deliveries. Being threatened with our wages being stopped if we refuse to deliver the extra.

What has happened in your office is just the tip of the iceberg,if your place returns a no vote your job will change beyond recognition, your office must vote YES or before you know it management will be all over you and a part time job will be the norm at your place.

God only help them if they don't fight back because this is just the start, there is plenty more to come if they think they'll get away with it.

I'm hoping the majority don't vote NO. I've explained to the ones that have appeared to have of voted no, but I got the impression it fell on deaf ears.
